Dear Kroc School Community,

As an educational institution committed to peace with justice, we at the Kroc School of Peace Studies have been following the sequence of recent events that have led to widespread protests and unrest across the country. Coming in the midst of Covid-19 which has exposed our connectedness as humans as well as the injustices of racism, poverty and inequalities that continue to divide us, these events lead us to recommit ourselves to non-violent transformative change in order to build a new normal based on human dignity for all.

We reject racism and injustice in all its forms and believe that sustainable peace is rooted in social justice. We join the nation-wide calls for action against racism and will continue to use our voices to educate, advocate and innovate to promote peace with justice.
