Restorative Justice Facilitation and Leadership Graduate Certificate
Restorative justice is a global social movement growing in all industry settings, including K-12 schools, higher education institutions, workplaces, community organizations and criminal justice agencies. Be a part of a new generation of leaders who understand the philosophical underpinnings of restorative justice.
The academic certificate is designed for students to:
- gain broad knowledge about how restorative justice is necessary to evaluate good from bad practice
- connect to practitioners with years of experience across a variety of settings and a range of cases from simple to highly complex
- ensure skillful practice by including academic study and experiential learning
create an apprenticeship that includes a community of learners who can support one another while receiving close mentoring and support from advanced trainers/facilitators
build a strong, diverse community of practitioners that can obtain restorative justice job positions and provide leadership in the field
This certificate consists of 9 units of coursework (3 classes).

This Interdisciplinary Certificate in Trauma Awareness, Resilience and Restorative Approaches across the Professions brings together professionals across multiple sectors to develop a deeper understanding of trauma, resilience, and restorative practices and in order to inform practice that is reflective, proactive and supportive of the diverse populations they serve.
This certificate consists of 9 units of coursework.
