GRAD FEST II- May 2nd
Grad Fest II is on Thursday, May 2nd in the Torero Store and Frank’s Lounge in the University Center from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm where you can:
*If you already went to Grad Fest I, you do not need to go to this second one.
- Verify your Petition to Graduate is on file with the Graduate Records office
- Have your account reviewed by a One Stop Counselor
- Meet with staff from the Career Development Center
- Meet with the Alumni Relations team
- Order and pick-up your regalia (please keep in mind that the cost cannot be charged to your Student Account)
- Get supplies to decorate your cap
- Take a graduation portrait in a cap and gown
- Order graduation announcements
- Order the USD class ring
- Order university diploma frames
- Shop for graduation leis
- Take advantage of a 24% discount at the Torero store on apparel and gifts
**The Kroc School has a few used robes, caps and stoles donated from past alumni. For those who cannot afford the cost of regalia and would like to borrow a portion of regalia, they will be in the ideation the week of April 15th (first come, first serve). Please note the sizes and quantities are limited.
KROC SCHOOL AWARDS CEREMONY- May 24th
We would also like you to SAVE THE DATE for our Kroc School Graduation Celebration and Awards Ceremony.
Date: Friday, May 24, 2024
Time: 4:30 – 7:00 PM
Location: Kroc Institute of Peace & Justice Theatre, Rotunda and Garden of the Sky
All Kroc School graduates of 2024 will be invited to this ceremony and each graduate will be allowed up to 6 guests. More details including how to RSVP will be sent to you in the coming weeks. We will live stream the awards ceremony portion for those who cannot attend in person. A reception will follow in the Rotunda and Garden of the Sky.
Nomination information for the various awards categories including class speaker is forthcoming.
USD COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY- May 25th
The Kroc School of Peace Studies Class of 2024 will participate in the Graduate II Ceremony.
Date/Time: Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 9:00 AM
Location: Indoors in Jenny Craig Pavilion
You will be required to register to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. Registration will be open on April 18th. Please keep an eye out in your inbox for this email sent directly from USD.

Information about diplomas:
Diplomas are ordered 2 weeks after final grades have been submitted by faculty and the student has been cleared by Graduate Records. Delivery times are estimated at 5-7 weeks. Please notify Graduate Records (usdgradrec@sandiego.edu) of any address changes before graduation.
Digital diplomas are ordered 2-3 weeks after degrees are conferred and will be sent to your USD email address.For more information about diplomas, please view this website.
