Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund
About: The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund aids people active in movements for social and economic justice. These need-based scholarships are awarded to students who are able to do academic work at the college or university level or are enrolled in a trade or technical program and who are active in the progressive movement. Early recipients worked for civil rights, against McCarthyism and for peace in Vietnam. Recent grantees have been active in the struggle against racism, sexism, homophobia and other forms of oppression; building the movement for economic justice; and creating peace through international anti-imperialist solidarity. Applicants must have participated in activities in the US, and there is a strong preference for applicants who plan on working in this country.
Maximum Award: $15,000 per student/per year

MANA Scholarship Program
About: The MANA de San Diego Scholarship Program enables exceptional Latinas to continue the journey toward success, leadership, and empowerment by providing financial assistance when enrolled in an institution of higher learning. MANA Scholarship recipients are selected based on a number of academic and non-academic factors. These factors include leadership, community engagement, educational and professional goals, financial need, and special circumstances. Scholarships are awarded and recipients and their families are celebrated at an annual Scholarship Reception.
Maximum Award: Annually, MANA awards $30,000 to $40,000 in financial support to a wide range of worthy students.
