Call for Nominations, Aspen Institute, New Voices Fellowship
The Fellowship will recruit a total of 15-20 Fellows for 2022. We recruit Fellows who are development experts in fields such as food security, global health, human rights, and climate change. For the 2022 class, we will continue to give special consideration to Fellows whose work focuses on COVID-19 relief, vaccine development, and pandemic resiliency.
Candidates for the Fellowship are expected to have both a record of significant professional achievement, a desire to share their perspectives on global development with a broader international audience, and a desire to advocate for policy change. The Fellowship is open by nomination only.

We are an innovativefully-funded fellowship based at the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science in London, England. The programme is aimed at mid-career social-change leaders, from diverse countries and contexts, who are working to challenge inequality and who believe inequality can be defeated. We are now recruiting 18 Fellows for 2022-23, our sixth fellowship year, with an application deadline of 10 January 2022.
This contest calls on U.S. students to share in a 90 second video the positive impact they could make if they were able to accept an unpaid internship with financial sponsorship.

Intern, Karuna Center for Peacebuilding
The Karuna Center for Peacebuilding is seeking a part-time intern for Fall 2021/Spring 2022. The Karuna Center for Peacebuilding is a small nonprofit organization based in Amherst, MA, but with primarily remote staff, that implements peacebuilding programs focused on conflict transformation, inter-communal dialogue, and reconciliation. The core of Karuna Center’s work takes place in conflict-affected regions of the world, working with local partners. Karuna is also expanding its outreach and efforts to do more work in the United States.
The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship
A full-time, six-to-nine month fellowship in Washington, DC. Outstanding individuals will be selected to work with nonprofit, public-interest organizations addressing peace and security issues. This opportunity provides recent college and graduate school alumni with the opportunity to gain a Washington perspective on key issues of peace and security.
Scoville Fellows will choose to work with one of the twenty-six organizations participating in the program. Fellows may undertake a variety of activities, including research, writing, and organizing that support the goals of their host organization.
Fellows receive a salary of $3,400 per month and basic health insurance compensation, plus travel expenses to Washington, DC. The program also provides $1,000 per fellow for professional development to attend relevant conferences or meetings that could cover travel, accommodations, and registration fees, or to take a language or policy course. The Children & Youth Division at Search for Common Ground seeks a full-time or part-time Youth, Peace and Security Intern for Fall 2021 to provide support for the Children and Youth division’s youth advocacy and fundraising efforts.
The Youth, Peace and Security Intern will assist the world’s largest dedicated peacebuilding NGO in shaping Youth, Peace and Security Coalition’s communications, meetings, and advocacy strategies as well as doing research on fundraising opportunities for Youth, Peace and Security advocacy and supporting grant drafting. The Road to Equal Justice Program Intern
The Road to Equal Justice (RTEJ) initiative empowers U.S. communities with training and mentoring on media, technology, and data tools that can accelerate and amplify social justice movements. This program has worked with racial and social justice organizations in Baltimore, Denver, Boston, New Orleans, and Miami and has trained 263 people from 150 organizations on how to utilize technology and media in the fight for equal justice.

As the world confronts myriad, interconnected challenges — from ending civil wars and extreme poverty to combating climate change and information warfare — the very concept of global collective action is in question. At the same time, the world faces a severe, and widening, governance deficit as our system of global governance is continually asked to do more with less. In addition to multiple challenges and obstacles to deliver justice and security across the globe, the current system is under attack by resurgent nationalism, protectionism, and critiques of the multilateral system’s legitimacy. Stimson’s Global Governance, Justice & Security Program 〈GGJustSec〉 aims to advance more capable global and regional institutions to better cope with existing and emerging global challenges and to create new opportunities through effective multilateral action, including with the global business community and civil society.

The National Grassroots Organizing Program offers one-year general operating support grants of up to $30,000 to small, non-profit grassroots organizations throughout the United States.
The guiding principle behind this program is our belief that people most affected by a problem are in the best position to determine the solutions. We will consider proposals from grassroots organizations that are working to help themselves and their communities create broad systems change through community organizing and movement-building efforts.
