Dear Kroc students,
I am pleased to announce the composition of the Student Advisory Board (SAB) for 2020-2021.
- Aaron Pellot, 2nd year part-time MAPJ student
- Fiona Tomlin, 1st year full-time MASI student
- Zoya Sardashti, 2nd year full-time MS-CMR student
- Rachel Bomactao, 1st year full-time MAPJ student and PJSA representative
These students will serve on the SAB, alongside myself and Marissa Newman, Coordinator of Student Success.
The SAB exists to represent the voices of the student body in order to enhance the student academic experience and other areas of interest to the student body. It serves as a forum for dialogue between the student body and academic administration to address any concerns, discuss recommendations, and share important updates.
We will hold our first meeting on November 10th, and will circulate our agenda in advance. Ahead of this meeting, if you would like to flag any issues for SAB to discuss, please reach out to one of the student members or write to Marissa or I. Some examples of representative topics include: student life and promoting community, curricular suggestions, and career services.
After the meeting, we will store minutes in a transparent place and share updates.
We are excited to work together to strengthen programs and services at the Kroc School.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
With best wishes,
Emily Nagisa Keehn
