Position
Pacific Ridge School seeks a flexible, dynamic teacher to serve in two departments: History & Social Science and English. This full-time position will teach four sections: likely three in the History & Social Science department and one in the English department. Ideal candidates will be able to teach at the middle school and high school levels and have experience teaching global history. - Hold an advanced degree in a related field (bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred)
- Have a minimum of three years teaching experience at the secondary level
Responsibilities
- Teach a total of four sections across the History & Social Science and English departments, collaborating regularly with colleagues on the design and implementation of curriculum
- Serve on grade-level, departmental, and teaching teams
- Contribute to the co-curricular program by leading an advisory, club, service learning group, and/or alliance/affinity group as assigned
- Other responsibilities include chaperoning on-campus events, attending faculty meetings, and participating in student-led conferences
Salary and Benefits
The full-time salary range for this position is $59,218 to $117,233. Compensation is based on years of experience, education, and other factors.
