Job Summary:
The Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) seeks an on-site, long-term, substitute Chemistry Teacher. Under the supervision of the Assistant Head of School, the Teacher will plan andimplement Chemistry and Science courses (e.g., Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Introduction toBiotechnology). Curriculum will strongly focus on student achievement through an accelerated instructional model. This individual wants to make a positive impact on the lives of OLP students by upholding and communicating the school mission, philosophy, and core values while modeling behavior that inspires excellence and enthusiasm. The Teacher will help students learn and grow to become young women of heart, faith, and courage in the spirit of the Sisters of St. Joseph. The preferred candidate will have a depth of content knowledge that equips the candidate to teach science courses while also having the skills required to teach students at various grades and levels.
