Are you a sports fan?  Come enjoy the 40^th Annual San Diego Crew Classic along Crown Point on Mission Bay on April 6-7.  Collegiate, junior, and master rowers from all over the United States will be competing in this thrilling event.

Spring training is finishing up for the Padres as they get ready to face the New York Mets this week at Citi Field in New York City.  Come “root, root, root for the home team” as they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers for their home opener at PETCO Park on Tuesday, April 9^th.

The 88^th Annual Coronado Flower Show will take place at Spreckels Park on April 20-21 where you can take part in live entertainment, a beer garden, and a food pavilion at the largest tented flower show in the West.  Add to the weekend fun on April 21^st at the Earth Fair in Balboa Park where you can take pleasure in eco-friendly practices, environmental causes, wildlife preservation education and more!

The fun doesn’t end there!  Are you interested in the arts? April 25-28 is the Art Alive Festival of 2013.  The San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park will be transformed into a colorful display of art and flowers that is not to be missed.  April 27-28 is the Mission Federal Art Walk in Little Italy.  Wind down and relax at this free event showcasing fine art along with live musical performances and food and beverage booths.

Share a boy’s journey to make his dream come true as you jump into the set of a small English town in Billy Elliot The Musical, coming to the San Diego Civic Theatre on April 30 – May 5.  Based on the hit film, Bill Elliot The Musical is winner to ten Tony Awards in 2009, including Best Musical.  Enjoy the enchanting music of what is said to be Elton John’s “best score yet!”
