Science Teacher @ Mountain Empire High School

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must possess the following: 1) Valid California Single Subject in Science Teaching Credential in GeoScience/Chemistry/Biology or Physics (or possession of 32 semester units in Science to qualify for a Supplemental), and 2) English Language Learner Authorization (CLAD/BCLAD/CTEL or equivalent).

DUTIES: As a director of learning helps students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible men and women.

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills in appropriate subject matter, oral and written communication; interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy; knowledge of curriculum, education code, district policies; abilities to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with children and adults; maintain records and prepare reports; analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action; work independently with little direction; plan and organize work.
