LEAD CARE MANAGER: This AA- or Bachelors-level position provides intensive case management for at-risk youth through a contract with their Managed Care Medi-Cal provider. Care Managers help connect children, youth and families with a wide range of needed services (such as medical, dental, mental health), collaborate with community providers and advocate on behalf of youth and families. Services are provided remotely (by phone and video) and in person in family homes and the community. This is a great entry-level position for BSWs! Starting pay: $19 – $20/hour.

RESIDENTIAL THERAPIST: SDCC’s Residential Program is a fast paced, acute level of care that serves youth ages 6-17. Youth in Residential care come from a variety of backgrounds, including complex trauma and a range of diagnosis- Autism, mood disorders, PTSD, psychosis. Our program is based on collaboration within our interdisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, OT specialists, and milieu counselors who share the same goal of supporting youth to achieve stabilization, develop coping skills, and successfully reintegrate back into the community. Our Residential Therapists have a caseload of approximately 6-7 youth and provide weekly individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Clinical supervision is provided. Salary range: $66,560-75,500.

INTENSIVE FAMILY THERAPIST: The Intensive Family Therapist works with youth and their families addressing unmet needs to help alleviate mental health symptoms and/or unsafe behaviors. Using facilitation and therapeutic skills, the Intensive Family Therapist will guide a family through the Wraparound process using a strengths based and family driven approach. They will provide family therapy as needed, coordinate care with other service providers, connect with schools, and strengthen community connections. They will work as part of a team serving each family and will provide in-home services. Starting salary: $66,560.​

YOUTH COACH: The Youth Coach will provide Intensive Home & Community Based Support (IHCBS) to youth in a Wraparound Program. Youth Coach will work as part of a team of people working with and supporting the youth and family through the Wraparound Process. Youth Coach will act as the youth’s advocate, mentor, behavior coach, and will provide skill building related to the youths’ goals. Youth Coaches can either have lived experience as a recipient of behavioral health, special education, or substance use services or have a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience working with youth. This position requires driving and working in the community, families’ homes, and an office. This is a great entry-level position for BSWs! Starting pay: $18 – $20/hour.

WRAPAROUND INTENSIVE CARE COORDINATOR: Are you a Master’s Level Clinician wanting to change the lives of children and their families? Do you enjoy working on a fun and diverse team? Are you in need of obtaining your hours required for licensure? Intensive Care Coordinators are responsible for assessments, diagnosing, treatment planning, case management, facilitating the wraparound process and coordinating care with social workers, probation officers, schools, and psychiatrists. As an ICC, you work in the community, and support families in becoming self-sufficient and increasing stability of placement for their children. Starting salary: $67,000; $68,000 for Spanish speaking applicants.

ADMISSIONS/INTAKE COORDINATOR: The Admissions/Intake Coordinator is responsible for screening requests for admission to the residential and day treatment programs of the San Diego Center for Children (SDCC) and initiating in-depth studies of those applicants. This position is responsible for determining the appropriateness for admission and coordinating admission in the most appropriate program within the Center’s array of services or facilitating contact with a more appropriate provider. Other duties include coordination of planned discharges to other programs or transfers within the array of services at the Center, and liaison with insurance companies. Intake Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating admission appointment, making sure that new client is appropriately incorporated into EHR, and facilitate necessary assessments to ensure a safe transition into the program. Starting salary: Associates $66,500; Licensed: $75,500

MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN (LICENSED OR ASSOCIATES LEVEL): The Family Wellness Center specializes in a variety of outpatient therapy services (individual, family, and group therapy), psychological testing, and support services. The Mental Health Clinician will provide individual, family and group therapy services to children, adolescents, young adults, and their parents/caregivers. The position will be in Mission Valley and will require working flexible family-friendly hours approximately 3 early evenings/week. Must be registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences. Starting salary: Associates $65,000; Licensed: $77,000.
