Dr. Regina Gong is pleased to invite you to their 4th annual Filipino American History Month (FAHM) celebration on
Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the
Mother Hill Reading Room at Copley Library. This year, we are honored to welcome acclaimed filmmaker and artist
Benito Bautista as our featured keynote speaker.
This event is aimed to foster fellowship, belonging, and community while honoring the achievements and contributions of Filipino Americans in San Diego and across the country. As in previous years, we are grateful to have the Filipino Ugnayan Students Organization (FUSO) as our co-sponsor. This year, FUSO will once again share a cultural performance which will be a wonderful treat.
This event is free and open to the public, with a Filipino dinner following the program. I encourage you to
register to reserve your spot. The flyer is attached so feel free to share and spread the word.
Registration has opened for the 8th annual Women of Color Summit! As you know, it is an event that aims to foster a sense of community by elevating the voices of Women of Color on our campus. This year’s summit theme is, Rooted & Woven: Honoring Our Gifts, Restoring Our Community.
