To assist Faculty in their efforts to Remote Teach the OLS department can checkout the following technologies. Please click on the “Technology Request Form” button to officially request any of the following items (you may also select other and enter in a request for technology not seen here).
Policies associated with Equipment Requests:
- All equipment will need to be returned to the OLS department on the due date given or when the faculty member is not teaching.
- All equipment listed here meets the minimum technology requirements set by the University IT department for teaching or learning at USD. If your request goes beyond those requirements, your Department or Program Chair may be contacted for approval and justification for the alternative technology will be asked for.
- University policy is to discourage the purchase of printers for individual faculty offices or use since that is inconsistent with the university goal of sustainability. The policy seeks to encourage the utilization of shared printers at school and maintaining electronic files rather than printing when away from the office.
- University policy is to discourage the purchase of individual office equipment such as chairs, desks, cabinetry, etc.
