Its really difficult for me to quiet my mind. My mind is noisy, busy, and always slightly disorganized. There are alarms going off, reminders blinking, notes being taken, situations to analyze, and schedules to coordinate. When I was younger it was much simpler. I just took one task at a time: eat lunch, play outside, or call a friend. Now, my mind is constantly racing and fighting to remember everything and stay afloat. Its difficult for me to lock in on a singular topic and just sit with it for awhile. It can be easier in nature to do this, as I’m not surrounded by people and commitments. Clearing my mind is something I’m working on and I hope to get better at it.
