Gibbon Sentence [Nava]

It’s weird looking out at my new “home” because I do not know where anything is. At home I knew every street like the back of my hand. How can I call this place home when I still don’t even know the name of all the buildings on campus? It’s so much prettier than my actual home, and I remember counting down the days until I arrived to this city, however I can’t call it home because it feels like such an unfamiliar place. Now I count down to the days I can go to my real home, which is ironic. I want to become comfortable with the place I live now, and I think I must realize that this is only the third week! It’s normal to not feel adapted yet.
