My initial weeks at USD have been a daunting task. I was uprooted from my small town where I knew everyone and everything, to this campus in the middle of a bustling metropolis without anyone to rely on. However, this experience is proving to be quite fulfilling. I have a new sense of freedom and the opportunity to establish new relationships with individuals. It is also now that I am harnessing my interest in history by joining the History Club. The classes I have enrolled in are fascinating and keep me engaged. Even though in the beginning I was uncertain about my future at USD these past weeks have shown me that I will create unforgettable and momentous memories at this school.
