The California Association for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors is super excited to announce our first in-person conference in many years. We look forward to hosting you in sunny San Diego, CA on October 13-14, 2023. Held on the stunning campus of University of San Diego, CALPCC is bringing its A-game as we host speakers and presenters that will challenge our thinking and keep us up to date on new interventions, policy, and updates in the profession.

This year, we will redefine our expectations and our interventions as we move forward as a profession. As counselors we need to stay ahead of the curve and hone our focus to stay on top of educating ourselves and being innovative in our interventions as we elevate our work in the State of California.

Very soon we will open the call for proposals so that you can show your stuff. We’d love to hear about your research, what you’re interested in, and otherwise what you’d like to present to your colleagues. We are encouraging our clinicians and educators to submit a proposal, but new for this year we are accepting proposals for students to participate in our poster session.

This year, we heard you loud and clear. We will now host discussion sessions in addition to content presentations. These sessions will be brief, targeted talks by professionals in the field and panel discussions in a format meant to engage the audience as we’ve never done before.

In addition, there will be opportunities to network with your peers at the Friday Night Social event, get much needed CEs, meet the Board members and staff of CALPCC, and much much more.
