Mistakes are made everyday some more significant then others. In Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Victor Frankenstein mistakenly creates a monster and abandons it. The novel follows Victor as he deals with the repercussions of his creation and soon realizes the extent of this mistake. Though Victor did mistakenly create and abandon the monster, his biggest mistake was his attitudes and values that led him to create the monster and soon after abandon it.
