In the article, “As We May Think”, by Vannevar Bush, he talks about technology and predicts how it will progress in the future. Throughout the article, he describes how technology has become more advanced in the years after prior to his article. Additionally, he talks about how he thinks these new developments in technology will impact the course that developing more advanced technology will take. Using his knowledge of the science behind existing technology he predicts which ones can be further modified and extended. He suggests that in the coming years, photography, videography, cell phones, and computing devices, among others, all have the potential to advance and develop into something greater than what already exists. Despite his accurate predictions, I do not think Bush could ever imagine to the extent that some parts of technology has advanced today.
