When it comes to technology, there are two categories: helpful and harmful. On one hand, technology can connect people from across the world in an instant, or technology can be implemented in hospitals to make care more efficient to save more lives. However, a more common use of technology is to distract us from our everyday lives. The mindless scrolling on instagram or twitter is entertaining, but in reality does not accomplish much for ourselves. There is a balance that needs to be found, in using technology in a healthy way, but this balance is different for everyone.
Thoughts on technology vary tremendously as well. Older people tend to have a more critical view of technology, seeing as it was not implemented until later in their life. Many young people have not lived their life with the technology available today, so it is almost a necessity to them. The reality is that technology will be a major part of our lives now and in the time to come, and being able to use it responsibly will allow us to live happily and more efficient lives.
