During the past two weeks of college I have realized that change is inevitable. However, we must accept this change in order to grow. Sharing a room with three strangers you just met and being in a completely new environment can feel foreign. I’ve learned that to succeed it is extremely important to learn how to properly balance your time between homework and social activities. Readjusting can seem overwhelming at first but with time comes progress. New things may seem scary but as each new day follows you begin to feel more and more comfortable with where you are. After all, USD is your new home and it’s as good as you make it for yourself.
