HRSA Project TeamUP

The Department of Counseling & Marital and Family Therapy (CMFT), in collaboration with the Hahn School of Nursing (HSON), at the University of San Diego (USD), was awarded two federal training grants by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA). The Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHW) and Opioid Workforce Expansion Program (OWEP) grants have allowed the CMFT Department to provide additional training and workshops to students, alums, faculty, and community partners for free. The overall grant initiative is known as Project TeamUP!

What is a Project TeamUP Workshop?

Project TeamUP workshops focus on a particular presenting issue, modality, population, or combination of the three. Workshops vary in scheduling as they are longer, more in-depth training facilitated by content experts. Project TeamUP is a certified Continuing Education Provider with the California Psychological Association, and select workshops offer CE credits to licensed psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional clinical counselors.
