Since I am a professional chef, I try to go grocery shopping multiple times a week; as I go through the aisles I pick up apples and strawberries, sometimes just a variety of berries, and then go down to the next section and select fresh vegetable produce- celery and baby kale are prime examples- and then finally finishing up my trip, I select a few kinds of cheeses, preferably brie and grass-fed sharp cheddar- cheese is one of my favorite options to cook with, as it tastes delicious when melted down in a pasta dish or shredded on top of a flavorful garden salad.
