The fiery orange sun rose slowly behind the gates of the Zoo signaling the start of a new day for its inhabitants and workers all across the property, many of the occupants had been up well before dawn; some had been restless all night, and as the mama bear and her cubs rose slowly to a fresh breakfast of nuts, berries, and fruit, the gorillas prepared for their first meal of the day of a similar form, across the Zoo, the giraffes began munching on hay with a vigor not seen by the keepers in a while, today was a new day full of excitement and buzz.
