Tevera is a tool for students to track their clinical hours
Helpful reminders for tracking time on Tevera
1. Manually tracking clinical hours takes time: One of the most common reasons students struggle with tracking time is that they simply forget to. They’re rushing from place to place and don’t have the time to sit down and enter their hours. Solution: Tevera’s time-tracking is mobile so all you need is your phone. This helps reduce the risk of forgetting to enter time by allowing you to do it from anywhere.
2. Losing or misplacing clinical tracking documentation: We love sticky notes as much as the next person but if you are tracking their hours on various pieces of paper, you’re likely to lose at least one piece. This goes for spreadsheets too. Computers crash, spreadsheets reboot. We’ve all been there when something we’ve been working on is suddenly deleted. Solution: Tevera makes sure that any hours entered in the system, stay in the system. Even if your computers all crash, hours are safe and accurate with Tevera.
3. Not initially understanding the importance of tracking clinical hours: At the end of fieldwork or practicum, you will understand the importance of tracking those hours in support of licensure. However, you may forget to enter a few hours from the beginning of their journey. Solution: Keeping track of hours is important from the start to avoid unpleasant surprises that may risk the student moving forward and graduating.
