In our lab, we have broad interests in marine ecology, with a more specific research focus on:
- identifying the biological and physical factors (endogenous and exogenous environmental cues, behavioral responses, and hydrodynamic conditions) that influence the larval transport and dispersal of marine organisms in nearshore coastal environments
- characterizing the settlement and recruitment dynamics of marine organisms to benthic habitats
- understanding how and why marine populations vary
