Everyone is a leader, no matter what your job title or area of responsibility. The 2020 Smith Leadership Symposium will be led and facilitated by members of the Informal Learning Leadership Collaborative (ILLC), a group of leaders of museums and science centers with extensive experience in mentorship and facilitation. Our panel session will feature: Catherine Wilson Horne, President and CEO of Discovery Place in North Carolina, Diane Miller, Chief Program Officer at the Detroit Zoological Society, Lāth Carlson, Executive Director, Museum of the Future in Dubai, and Lisa Hayes, an accomplished writer and cultural leader. Our panelists will share their journey to leadership including overcoming the challenges and successes in the arts and culture industry.

More than 20 members of the ILLC, from the US and around the world, will be at the Symposium, providing participants with an extraordinary opportunity to meet, connect, and network with senior leaders of small and large organizations.
