Graduate Student Travel Fund (formerly called the Graduate Student Meritorious Professional Development Award)

This funding opportunity is for the purpose of encouraging professional development of DLS students. Students are also encouraged to apply for other sources of funding through the SGSA grant process and/or other funding opportunities. First priority will be given to cover the cost of attendance of well-recognized professional conferences such as AERA, UCEA, ILA, ARNOVA, ASHE, etc., where the student is presenting his/her research. If funds are available, other uses such as research costs, travel related to participation as a graduate student representative in a professional organization or travel for data collection may also be considered.

Award: Up to $500 per student per year*
