As a result of several conversations with women in the doctoral program this past semester, we would like to invite any doctoral student who identifies as a female to join us for a student-led community-building event! Our hope is that this can be a space where we can get together to form a supportive and empowering community, and write, discuss our work and upcoming conferences, etc.

Our first meeting will be on June 13, 2019 at 5:30PM at Ballast Point – Home Brew Mart (address linked). If you are interested in attending and haven’t already RSVPed to a calendar invite, please send an email to Melissa Burgess at melissaburgess@sandiego.edu so we can add you. If you are unavailable for the 13th but would like to be included in the future, please let us know.
