We are excited for you to get to know them and have outlined some highlights from their bios below:
Tamara Furman
With over 20 years of hands-on experience as a senior leader, executive coach, team facilitator, strategic OD/HR consultant, trainer, facilitator, and entrepreneur, Tamara has successfully helped privately held, publicly traded and non-profit organizations in a variety of industries, such as financial services, sports and entertainment, healthcare, pharmaceutical, bio-technology, publishing, staffing, manufacturing, hospitality, electronics/technology, digital marketing, advanced education, food service, and retail/e-tail. She served as the senior HR leader at Fremont Bank, San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego Padres, AMN Healthcare, Hunter Industries and finished her corporate career as Chief HR Officer at Search Optics.
Tamara currently serves as Board President for the SD HR Forum, and has facilitated their quarterly Advisory Committee Meetings for several years. She is a founding member and board member of the SD International Coach Federation chapter. Tamara most recently served as President-Elect, President and Past President for the San Diego Professional Coaches Alliance.
Charles Furman
Charles is the President and Co-Founder of the San Diego Leadership Institute, a Credentialed Executive Coach, and a Vistage Chair. He is passionate about partnering with successful leaders who have a desire to achieve more than they ever imagined possible. He lives out his passion by working with business owners, CEOs, senior executives, and their teams to grow their businesses and become more effective leaders.
Charles brings over 25 years of hands-on corporate experience in both the private and public sectors across in a wide variety of industries. He has held CEO roles and C-Suite positions and has also served on numerous Boards. Charles held a public service role for 9 years where he served as Trustee of the Fremont Unified School District (4 years as Chairman of the Board) responsible for 46 schools, 30,000 students, 3000 employees.
Linda Braun-Leibowtiz
Linda Braun-Leibowitz is the co-founder and joint CEO of GloCo Leadership Consulting, a boutique consulting firm located in San Diego, California. She is a Clinical Psychologist and a certified Integral Coach®. She has twenty-four years of experience in leadership development, team coaching, executive coaching, life coaching, and group facilitation. She has consulted to a wide range of leaders, from CEO’s to senior and middle managers. She has also coached and mentored students training to become Integral Coaches. Linda was born in South Africa. She lived and worked in Johannesburg until immigrating to the United States in 2009.
Linda is passionate about working with her clients to develop their full potential so that they can achieve excellence and fulfillment in their professional and personal lives. Working within a holistic framework, she combines presence, deep inquiry, challenge and rigor in a way that supports and empowers her clients to achieve their goals. An emphasis on self-awareness, self-correction and self-generation of solutions ensures that her coaching delivers lasting results.
