Cohort Representative Description: As a member of your program, the Cohort Representative has a pulse on your cohort’s overall shared experiences.
Cohort Representative Role:
- Leadership: Act as the primary contact for the program cohort
- Problem Solving: Provide ongoing feedback and share insight to help GBP address items as they arise
- Effective Communication: Relay important, time sensitive information to the cohort
- Community Building: Foster a culture of inclusiveness and support so peers remain engaged throughout the program
Cohort Representatives Contributions:
- Create videos to help rebrand the Code of Professional Conduct and used via Blackboard as part of the pre-orientation onboarding (vs. in person orientation)
- Share stories of your cohort, make announcements, and profile your leadership role in a designated section of the GBP Newsletter
- Provide survey input to help redesign newsletter
- Address concerns/issues in and outside of the classroom
- Participate in photo shoots for marketing publications
- Organize social events for cohort to help foster community building
- Help champion GBP events with your cohort to remain active and engaged
- Create Student Tips/Videos
- Building Your Brand on LinkedIn
