Finals Week is almost here and Student Wellness wants to help support your well-being by encouraging you to rest, relax, and recover before you head into your exams. Take part in any or all of our programming this week to help you prepare! Make sure to visit our Finals Week page to find campus resources + tips for studying, test prep and more!

Monday, May 9th

Visit our Instagram page to learn how other USD students are caring for their well-being during finals. Then make sure to keep an eye out for health promotion team members around campus passing out goodie bags! They’ll be visiting spaces like Copley Library, the Learning Commons, SSS, CSS, CC, OA, The Commons + more throughout the day!

Tuesday, May 10th

Active Minds General Body Meeting – Gaming Event

Join Active Minds from 1:00 – 2:00 pm for pizza and games! The event will take place in UC 128.

The Calming Corner

The Calming Corner is officially opens! The Calming Corner is a private office space in the CHWP (UC 161) that you can reserve for a 30 or 60-minute shift to recharge, rest, study, meditate or decompress.

The Calming Corner includes:

  • small sofa
  • personal blanket for you to keep
  • white noise machine
  • calming water feature
  • dim lighting to support rest
  • mindful activities to use
  • calming teas

Play the Stress Away Day with Campus Recreation

Grab a donut and enjoy snacks, games, crafts and more on Paseo de Colachis from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Brought to you by CHWP, Campus Rec + ASG.

Torero Feud led by Torero Program Board

Stop by Frank’s Lounge from 6:00 – 8:00 pm for a family feud-style event where students can compete in teams for prizes! *Competition is only open to undergrad students.

Monday, May 16th

Yoga with Campus Recreation

Join us for stretching and deep breathing during a class in the Garden of the Sea (behind IPJ) from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.
