Students Plan Purposeful Futures

Living Our Mission

It may take knowledge, grit and a great deal of heart, but Toreros are out to follow their own path and change the world. Here, President Harris sits down with three students whose values and experiences at USD have prepared them for future success and purposeful lives.

Gary Couch, the outgoing president of the Alcalá Club, plans to someday start his own engineering firm, built on a vision of what is best for people and the planet. Nicole Abraham served her peers as a career ambassador and gained more than people skills from the experience. Patricia Cosulich’s interests and involvement are wide-ranging, but her focus is on bringing communities together and upholding people with grace.
