At USD, students don’t just watch from the sidelines of their respective fields; they become practitioners.
In recent years, undergraduate research opportunities have exploded across a variety of disciplines at USD. Now, students can work side by side with professors to experience first-hand the nuances of research, whether in science or English, engineering or history. Here, chemistry professor Mitch Malachowski shares with President Harris about Research Week, which was created to celebrate all the student and faculty research activities going on at the university.
Research Week will take place April 18-21 at the University of San Diego, and is open to the public. See here for a calendar of events.
