USD IS THRILLED TO CHEER ON CHICAGO CUBS’ KRIS BRYANT AT THE WORLD SERIES
University of San Diego alumnus Kris Bryant was drafted No. 2 overall by the Chicago Cubs in 2013, marking the highest draft pick in USD history. He was called up to the majors in 2015, and was subsequently named Rookie of the Year. Toreros around the world are excited to see their favorite son compete in this historic event.
USD alumni, parents and friends are invited to attend a special Chicago Torero Club event where you will have the chance to win two (2) tickets to the Saturday, October 29 World Series game at Wrigley Field! The drawing to win tickets* will be held during the event and you must be present to win. Only those with a USD affiliation (such as alumni, parents and students) are eligible to win.
This event is $10 per person to attend and includes brunch buffet and one drink ticket. A cash bar will also be available. Guests under 12 are free to attend.Casual attire but per Union League Club dress code, no shorts allowed. Space is limited. Pre-register for the event by Friday, October 28th at 5:00 p.m. Walk-up price is $15 per person.
