Dear U3A Attendees,<\/p>\n
Welcome to the University of Third Age (U3A) at the University of San Diego. The Winter 2021 program brings us a new opportunity to expand U3A to a virtual program. Although I will miss being physically on campus with all attendees, the overwhelming interest in a virtual program has been inspiring.<\/p>\n
For over forty years, U3A has been a community outreach effort for the University of San Diego, specifically for life-long learners 55 years and older. We have welcomed over 1000 speakers and 7000 attendees. U3A participants enjoy three-weeks of workshops and seminars led by a diverse speaker lineup from a variety of industries such as art, history, science, medicine, technology, business, education, and local current affairs. We strive to showcase presenters that are sharing cutting-edge information about their community, industry, business, or organization. The attendees thrive on being intellectually stimulated and learning something new each day.<\/p>\n
The best endorsement for U3A is the personal referral attendees extend to their friends and family. Given our program is now virtual, we are able to welcome attendees well beyond San Diego.<\/p>\n
