Leaders have foresight, they have the vision and the ability to see beyond what is immediately in front of them. They can see the bigger picture. In most families, there is one person who takes on the role to provide the best opportunities they can for all members. Within the family units that we met at the migrant shelters, the leaders were the parents. a choice was made to risk it all. The risk included their lives and the lives of their children. It could not have been an easy decision but the only decision they felt they had to make for the opportunity to a better life.<\/p>\n
