Resources for Distance Learning
The USD School of Leadership and Education Sciences has a team of administrators, faculty, staff, and students dedicated to supporting the use of technology for distance learning. Resources within SOLES include SMART classrooms with video conference capabilities and a dedicated Audio Visual Technician and Support Specialist. Most of our classes are web enhanced and we currently offer 2-3 courses per year that are delivered completely on-line. In addition to the SOLES facilities and technology support staff, there are several places on campus, both live and virtual, that promote the use of technology on and off campus. SOLES also has a designated representative, Instructional Support Analyst, Cyd Burrows (click here for bio) from the USD Instructional Technology Department, to assist faculty with distance learning objectives.
