Hello USD #BLM & Beyond Social Justice and Advocacy Series Folx,

On February 10, 2023 we had another wonderful event, “The Impact of Community: Calling In & Calling Out.” We would like to thank those who made this time so impactful: Dr. Eric Pierson and Julianna Kihmm from USD Rowing Team (panelists), Dr. Perla Myers (land acknowledgement), Dr. Martha Fuller (closing remarks), and Marques Spencer and Richard Hurt (#BLM & Beyond planning team).

Thank you Dr. Pierson for guiding us after the free viewing of the movie, “A Most Beautiful Thing” and panel discussion. This event truly emulated our solidarity statement by “uplifting and providing a better quality of life for our community.” As Dr. Fuller mentioned, “we can’t move forward unless we do it together.”
