Monday, March 26 – Thursday, March 29
Mother Rosalie Hill Hall Warren Auditorium
Next week in conjunction with Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana, TBI will be presenting four films that address different issues relating to the U.S.-Mexican border. Law students may especially be interested in Presunto Culpable (Presumed Guilty), a 2008 documentary made by two young Mexican attorneys who are attempting to exonerate a man who has been wrongly accused. Through the process, the directors, Roberto Hernández and Geoffrey Smith, expose the contradictions of a judicial system that presumes the accused as a guilty until proven innocent.
Showtime: Thursday, March 29, 2012, 5 p.m., Mother Rosalie Hill Hall Warren Auditorium
