Faculty Bio

Elizabeth Kresock is double majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics and minoring in Theology and Religious Studies. She will be a junior at the University of San Diego in fall 2018. She is currently conducting research with Dr. Satyan Devadoss and Dr. Lukasz Pruski in the Mathematics Department. She is working alongside a team of students to create interactive programs that visualize the unfolding of objects in space. She is extending Devadoss’ research from last summer, which investigated the unique structures which appear when three-dimensional cubes and four-dimensional cubes unfold. She, Pruski, Devadoss, and the team are working together to transform mathematical patterns on paper into vivid, interactive graphics on a website. This requires mathematical reasoning and knowledge of programming languages such as Three.JS, JavaScript, WeBGL, HTML, and CSS.
