The overall topic that I am planning on writing my research paper about is video games, and more specifically how they affect people developmentally. The issue that I would be discussing is addiction in adolescents towards Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPG) as well as possibly how it affects long term behaviors into adulthood. Some of the things I would want to explore are to what extreme is behavior affected by these video games and how much of it was already there.<\/p>\n

Some of the resources that I was able to find outside of the giving sources are “Understanding Online Gaming Addiction and Treatment Issues for Adolescents” by Kimberly Young. As well as “Game design and learning: a conjectural analysis of how massively multiple online role-playing games (MMORPGs) foster intrinsic motivation” by Michele Dickey. The last article I was able to find was “Violent Video Games, Externalizing Behavior, and Prosocial Behavior: A Five-Year Longitudinal Study During Adolescence” by Sarah Coyne.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
