In the readings for Advent, we hear a common theme of waiting, anticipation, and patience. For the Third Sunday in Advent, we are given the image of a farmer allowing the stages of planting and growth to slowly develop.<\/p>\n
“See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and late rains. You too must be patient.
