Student Workshop<\/h3>\n

“Chicago\/Turabian: Introduction and Citation Clinic,” with librarian Martha Adkins –\u00a0Monday, November 10\u00a0– FST classroom Coronado 132B –\u00a04:30-5:30pm.\u00a0Martha will also be available for drop-in help in Copley Library at the Research Assistance Desk\u00a0Mondays 10:00am-12:00pm\/Thursdays 12:00pm-2:00pm\u00a0and in the FST Library\u00a0Thursday afternoons\u00a0between the hours of\u00a03:00-5:00pm.<\/p>\n

Spring 2026 Registration<\/h3>\n

Registration for the Spring 2026 semester is now open between\u00a0November 10 -14. If you have not met with your academic advisor yet, please do so as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

The Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies will be offering a Spring 2026 course entitled\u00a0Religion, Conflict, and Peace: Examining Religion’s Dual Role in Fueling Violence and Fostering Peace\u00a0on Thursday afternoons.<\/p>\n

The course will explore different frames through which religion can be viewed and treated\u2014religious literacy, pluralism, secularism, and religion as an evolving system of knowledge and practice. The course examines intersections between religion, science, politics, development, and civilization-building in studying its role in conflict and peace.<\/p>\n

Discuss this with your advisor and consult Oliver Mamangun if you wish to enroll in this class.<\/p>\n
