FST Community News

On Christmas in 1223, St. Francis re-enacted the Nativity for the people of Greccio, a medieval village located in the Rieti Valley of central Italy.

“The brothers sing, giving God due praise, and the whole night abounds with jubilation. The holy man of God (St. Francis) stands before the manger, filled with heartfelt sighs, contrite in his piety, and overcome with wondrous joy.”

– Francis of Assisi: Early Documents – The Saint, New York Press, p. 255-256.

What does the image of the scene and message of the Nativity stir within you?

Have a most blessed Christmas and New Year!

The FST offices will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Thursday, January 1, 2026.
