Two weeks ago, our new student leaders, were given a blessing at our FST liturgy. They are Joan Choi and Daniel Kaatz (receiving the blessing on zoom) from the MTS-FT (Online) and John Murcko and Nick Straub from our in-person student body. We are grateful for their willingness to give of their time and energy to initiate creative ways to connect all of our students in social and spiritual ways.
They invite all students to a three-part hybrid retreat:
Rediscovering Love and Relationship with Our Deceased Friends and Family.
The three distinct parts include:
- Saturday, October 25, 2025 – 9:00-10:00am PST – An introductory session presenting the Christian spirituality of remembering and praying for the dead.
- Participants are asked to make an effort to individually or with others visit a cemetery or other location that brings you close to loved ones who have gone before you.
- Saturday, November 8, 2025 – 9:00-10:00am PST – Reflecting on our experience as a group.
This will be a great way for our students to come together for prayer and reflection as a community.
