FST Community News

For the twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary time, we will hear Jesus’ story about the poor man named Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16:19-31). This Gospel passage coincides with National Migration Week – September 22-28, 2025 culminating with the World Day of Migrants and Refugees on Sunday, September 28. We call to mind the many people who leave their countries of origin to seek refuge elsewhere.

Do we recognize those among us who are in need? How are we called to respond?
