In the Gospel reading from Luke for the Easter vigil, the angels at the tomb ask of the women arriving to treat Jesus’ dead body with spices,
“Why do you seek the living one among the dead? He is not here but he has been raised.”

Student Retreat Opportunity
The student leadership team and USD’s Outdoor Adventures will be hosting a unique retreat experience:
- Saturday, May 10, 9am-5pm – “Sowers of Hope: An Immersive Day of Recollection in the Spirit of Laudato Sì.” Led by Br. Keith Warner and Mark Ceder, students will visit four locations along the Tijuana River estuary experiencing the land, ecological destruction and taking time to reflect on how we can be sowers of hope.
