FST Community News—April 7-13

In the second reading (Philippians 2: 6-11) for Passion Sunday, we hear about the humility of Christ, “though he was in the form of God, he did not regard equality with God something to be grasped” and he “emptied himself, coming in human likeness.”

C.S. Lewis, in his book, Mere Christianity, described what this kind of self-emptying looks like when he wrote, “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.”

Am I willing to be in solidarity with and meet others where they are at?
