Advent is a time to prepare to be filled with something new.
“For newness to grow, many things must be let go. The tree holds tightly to these things. A stripping off of Fall’s dead leaves, no matter how lovely, must open us to new ways of being: an emptiness that yearns for more in the less.”
– Kathleen Ann Copp, OSF
